Hunter is a licensed real estate advisor/broker in NC and SC that specializes in the Belmont area and also has extensive speciality in the waterfront market on Lake Wylie. He represents buyers and sellers across the greater Charlotte area. He is a licensed Captain and a seasoned boater and offers boat tours on any lake in the area to prospective buyers. Hunter currently sits as the Chairman of the Lake Wylie Marine Commission and has been a commissioner for Lake Wylie for over 6 years. His knowledge and expertise of Lake Wylie and the Catawba River Basin is why Mecklenburg County Government appointed him as their commissioner.
Hunter was born and raised on Lake Wylie. He grew up in Steele Creek and attended UNC‑Charlotte. After college he built his first startup company in Charlotte in 2003. After growing that business to a regionally known brand he sold it in 2018. In 2014 Hunter started a boat rental company on Lake Wylie. Within just a few years his rental business became the largest fleet available for rental on Lake Wylie.
He currently lives on Lake Wylie with his wife and three daughters. Hunter and his family enjoy evening boat rides around the lake and dinners at Papa Docs.
Hunter was inducted into the Luxury Home Market Institute’s Guild for his real estate work in representing properties in the Luxury $1 million+ market. He also holds a Strategic Pricing Specialist designation.
